The Captain’s Spicy Paloma

A Little Heat, A Lot of Sunset

Marcus always says: “A good drink should surprise you.” 

Marcus’s signature drink is his spicey Habenero Margarita. Though she loves them, they are so spicy, that Meri needed an alternative option to enjoy. The Paloma already had everything—bright citrus, a little bitterness—but to create the perfect marriage Marcus added just a touch of heat. 

That’s when it became unforgettable.

Recipe 

· 2 oz tequila 

· 2 oz grapefruit juice 

· ½ oz lime juice 

· ½ oz agave 

· Pinch chili flakes or jalapeño slice 

· Soda splash 

Instructions Shake all but soda. Pour over ice, top with soda. 

Captain’s Twist 

Tajín + smoked sea salt rim for layered heat.
